Wesley A. Warner

WESLEY A. WARNER, SCPO, USN  (retired)


Senior Chief Petty Officer Wesley A Warner, 66, passed away at home on May 23, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.  He was born to the late Willam Ray and Cora Warner on March 31, 1958.  

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne A. Warner and sister Jeanneen Carlson-Gharst.


Wesley is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Svitlana and her sons Sergiy Berezhnoy(Melissa) and Yaroslav Berezhnoy, his son Jasen Warner, grandsons Alex and Ben, granddaughter Nova, his brother Ricy Warner (Loretta) Clayton, WA, sisters Pat Adams (Mike) of Boise, ID and Raydeen Connell (Tom) of White Springs, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.


He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1976 and immediately joined the Navy. He retired after 20 years of military service.  He took great pride in serving his country aboard both fast attack and ballistic missile submarines. 


Wesley’s favorite pastimes were camping with his wife and friends, and reminiscing about his time in the Navy. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter  Day Saints.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on the 21st of June at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake. A

reception will follow at 9501 N Mallory Ct, Spokane WA 99208.
