Sylvia dedicated her life to caring for others as a licensed practical nurse, a career she pursued while raising four young children—a testament to her determination and strength. She had a deep love for learning and a creative passion for sewing, often crafting heartfelt gifts for her loved ones. Above all, Sylvia held a profound devotion to Jehovah God as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, whose teachings guided her life and brought her comfort and peace.

Sylvia and her family shared a complex relationship, but they will forever remain tied by the bonds of family. Her memory is honored with gratitude for the times shared, the lessons imparted, and the love she gave in her unique way.
A private service was held at Hawthorne Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Washington, on December 31, 2024.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her faith, her caring heart, her creativity, and her passion for knowledge.”
