November 11, 1949 - December 14, 2016
Passed away peacefully, after fighting many health battles, on December 14, 2016. Born November 11, 1949, Sharon was the second daughter of dairy farmers Harold and Mary Evanger and grew up in Valleyford, WA. She graduated from the UW, was an elementary school teacher in the town of Northport, WA, and founded the Child Adult Care Food Program for Spokane area in-home daycares - which she managed for 34 years. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Becky (Richard) Henselen, Christy (Mike) Kuntz, three grandchildren, sisters Linda Wyrick and Vickie Stevens, and brothers Dan and Mike Evanger; as well as numerous other family and friends. With her work, wisdom and love, she touched countless lives. A celebration for Sharon is planned at 3pm on Saturday, January 7th, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2511 S. Pines Rd. Spokane Valley, WA.
