ROY DALE BROWN 

 

June 28, 1953 – December 12, 2024 

Roy D. Brown was born June 28, 1953, in Spokane WA along with his twin brother Ray to Georgia (Schuler) and C. Arthur Brown. Roy passed away December 12, 2024, in Cheney WA.  

Roy was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and the beauty of the outdoors. He loved and missed his longtime dog & companion, Reba.  

He grew up at Hutton Settlement and graduated from Shadle Park High School. He worked various jobs from Becwar Packing Plant to Cheney Grain Growers and Jensen Byrd. He was also a member and volunteer of the Cheney Rodeo Association.  

Roy battled a few forms of cancer during his lifetime but stood strong.  

He did not have much but would do what he could for you.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Georgia and Arthur Brown, sister Edna (Brown) Brash (Gary) and brother Ronald “Rocky” Brown (Marylee Brown).  

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Betty (Brown) Bass & Bill Bass; twin brother Ray & sister-in-law Katherine Brown; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.  



In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for burial costs. 

A memorial will be held at a later date.
