Robert Evan Presgraves


Robert Evan Presgraves passed away in Spokane, Washington on July 30, 2024, at the age of 61. Robert (Robbie, Rob) was born on December 15, 1962, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts to Kenneth Lloyd Presgraves, Sr. and Lillie C. (Powell) Owens.

Robert (Robbie, Rob) attended Warren County High School. After high school he moved to Greensboro, NC where he worked as a Land Surveyor at Southern Mapping and Engineering for more than 10 years. Robbie then traveled out West stopping for a short period of time in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he worked in construction for his Uncle Robert Presgraves before moving on to Washington, State where he worked in oil refinery shutdowns and construction with his brother Ken. He resided in Washington State until his death.

Robbie enjoyed collecting Civil War memorabilia. He also had a great talent for drawing and sketching pictures. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

As a child growing up Robbie attended Refuge Church in Stephen City, Va. with his grand momma (Lofton).

Robert is survived by his mother Lillie C (Powell) Owens Front Royal, Va. Brother: Kenneth L. Presgraves, (Stephanie) Moses Lake, Washington Sister: Deborah Presgraves Graham, NC Nephew’s Kris Copeland (April) Jonathan Copeland, great nephew: Dylan Copeland, great niece Baileigh Copeland All of North Carolina great nephew Ayden Lloyd Presgraves, great niece Lillie Grace Helfenstein both of Washington State. Aunts Faye Presgraves, Johnson City TN, Carolyn (Taylor) Powell, Fort Walton Beach Fl. Rosemary Powell, Ormond Beach, FL, and Barbara Sardellis (Steve), Chesterfield, Va.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth L Presgraves Sr, Paternal Grandmother: Myrtle (Molden) Lofton, Maternal Grandparents: James C. Powell, Georgianna Odell Powell, Brother: Daniel (Dan) Vermillion, Niece Alyssa (Presgraves) Helfenstein, great nephew Nathan Ray Copeland.

Services will be held on Friday August 30, 2024, 5pm at Rockland Park 248 Rockland Park Court Front Royal, Virginia 22630.
