Phyllis Marie Fairbanks

September 19, 1941 - September 30, 2015

Phyllis Marie (Beaver) Fairbanks, born on September 19, 1941, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Her family is so thankful that she is no longer suffering, but has a brand new body in Heaven. She was born to Paul and Helen Beaver in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Most of her years growing up were spent living in Benton City, Washington. As an adult, she lived most of her years in Pasco, Washington, before moving to Spokane, WA. Before Phyllis became too ill to do her favorite activities, she enjoyed going to church, TOP’s meetings, shopping at the Goodwill, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading her bible and books by one of her favorite author, Max Lucado. She was a member of Sunset View Baptist Church in Pasco, WA. Phyllis is survived by her children Vickie Allert (Dave), Jen Fairbanks, and Brian Fairbanks, her grandchildren Baylee Allert, Tanner Allert, and Julius Kusz. She is also survived by her siblings Margie Deardorff (Jim), Chuck Beaver (Lisa), Dan Beaver (Julie), and Sheila Taylor, and numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Helen Beaver, and her brother Bob Beaver. Phyllis will be dearly missed, but her loved ones look forward to seeing her in Heaven! Her family would like to thank the staff at Sunshine Gardens and the Hospice House South for caring for Phyllis with such compassion and kindness. Also, a huge thank you to her siblings, Jim and Margie Deardorff, Sheila Taylor, and Dan and Julie Beaver, who traveled to Spokane to be at her side, some for several days. Also to her friend, Karen Chase, for her help. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane. A celebration of life service will be held sometime in the spring.
