November 12, 1957 - March 10, 2023
Kathleen J. Thiemens (Cillian), age 65, loving mother of six, and loving wife to Danny Thiemens, passed away peacefully in her Spokane, Washington home in the early hours of March 10th, 2023. Kathy was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1957 to Joseph and Jean Cillian, where she grew up with her two brothers, Joe (Cheryl) and Ron (Cathy). Kathy was a highly accomplished baton twirler early in life and competed on the national and international stage. She helped manage the family business, Fulcrum Crane Training International. Together with her husband, Danny, they provided countless Crane Training classes across the nation. She loved surrounding herself with her dogs and loved sports, especially when her kids or grandkids were involved. Her main focus in life was raising her children and instilling the values of hard work and integrity in all that they do. Kathy had quite the green thumb and always brought a sense of beauty and belief that to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow. This amazing woman will be greatly missed by her six children: Dan (Nicole), Ryan (Lily), Cody (Danelle), Bob (Kelsey), Kim (Eric) and Chris (Spencer), and nine grandchildren: Blake, Reese, Graham, Mabel, Hudson, Indy, Tommy, Kyle and Maelynn, along with her many cousins, nieces and nephews, and also Romeo, the family german shepherd. "We know that we can't have you but we're happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother. And always remember, the sun will come up tomorrow." A celebration of life will be announced at a later date to be held in Spokane this Summer.
