James Edward Horswill
May 22, 1940 – August 10, 2024
Born in Winlock, Washington, to Warren and Marion Horswill. Jim was a member of the Central Valley High School class of 1958. He attended E.W.U. , W.S.U and the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles.
A gifted commercial artist, he designed the interiors of many Spokane area restaurants and kitchens. Working with owners and architects he did artist renderings of prospective buildings including homes and hotels in Washington State and Scottsdale, Arizona.
Just for fun, he enjoyed drawing portraits of friends, classmates and family members. He also liked drawing and restoring classic cars. Jim will be greatly missed by daughter Sheri Romero (Ross), granddaughters Sophie and Karlie Romero of Dallas, Texas, his sisters Anne Sherrodd (Allen, deceased) and Nancy Horswill both of Spokane Valley, many nieces and nephews and all those who knew him. A family graveside service was held at Pines Cemetery on August 27, 2024.
