James C. Weber, a beloved husband, father, stepfather, uncle, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Spokane, Washington on January 5, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Spokane on September 29, 1946, to Emil and Freda Weber, James lived a life rich in love, hard work, and unwavering devotion to his family.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Linda K. Weber; his brother, Blaine Weber; his son, Michael Weber, and his parents Emil and Freda Weber. He is survived by his brother, Paul Weber; his son, Richard Weber; and his two stepchildren, Gary and Larry Bennett. His legacy of love endures through his grandchildren Kendra Weber, Samantha Shalda, Shayden Phillips, Kendrick Bishop, Elijah Weber, Devon Weber, and his three cherished great-grandchildren Brayden, River, and Kash.
A man of remarkable skill and work ethic, James was a talented boat builder and automotive repairman. He had a rare ability to work with his hands, transforming challenges into solutions and ensuring everything he crafted was done with care and precision.
Outside of his career, James enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles with friends. He was at his happiest when surrounded by family, sharing laughter, and creating cherished memories. James was a source of wisdom, resilience, and compassion to all who knew him. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought him immense pride and joy, and he inspired them with his love, strength, and encouragement.
James will be remembered by family and friends as a devoted and loving man whose impact will be felt for generations. His love, laughter, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.
