May 1, 1964 – January 14, 2025
David Bryan Patchett, 60, of Almira, Washington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in Kellogg, Idaho, on May 1, 1964, Dave lived a life full of adventure, hard work, and love.
Dave graduated from Wilbur High School in 1983 and went on to work in a variety of fields throughout his life, including as a ranch hand, cabinet maker, truck driver, and groundskeeper. Most recently, he returned to his roots working as a ranch hand at Valley Ag in Almira.
Dave was a man of simple joys and rich passions. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with friends and family. A lifelong fan of Def Leppard, he enjoyed watching football and collecting ceramic beer steins, many of which were beautifully painted by his mother, Evelyn.
Dave is survived by his former spouse, Lori, and their children, Paige and Joshua. He leaves behind his loving mother, Evelyn, and siblings Deanna Severson (Ryan), Dawn Stovern, and Daryl. He was a proud grandfather to Rowan, Sable, Rhiley, and Sharlette and a cherished uncle to Alexa and Carly Eisenbarth, Amanda and Matthew Stovern. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Larry A Patchett, in April 2023.
Dave faced his battle with cancer with courage and determination. After his diagnosis in early 2024, he continued to live life to the fullest, working and spending time with loved ones until his health declined.
Dave will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he now find eternal peace, hunting and fishing in heavenly fields and waters.
