Darren Dale McKee

July 15, 1960 - May 10, 2022

Darren went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 10, 2022, at Sacred Heart Hospital. We lost a great man, and heaven gained an amazing angel. On July 15, 1960, Darren was born to Richard McKee and Kathryn McDaniel. Darren worked in the construction business his entire life. In his early 20s, he decided to start his own business, Darren’s Siding and Windows, until he retired in 2018. Darren was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Darren is survived by his daughter, Alli McKee (Brett), sisters, Christie McKee and Yolanda Krieger, and brothers, Steve (AnnaLisa), Jayson (Will), and Kevin McKee, stepsons Robert Mayfield (Alyssa), and Sean Langworthy, grandsons Sammy and Jasper, granddaughter, Ava, nephew and family, Cody, Cortney, and Brayden Burgess. We will always remember his smile, caring heart, and love of family. Darren’s ceremony will be on Thursday, June 9th, 11:00 AM at Fairmount Memorial, Sunset Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley, followed by a reception at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th Ave. In lieu of flowers, if you would like to donate in Darren’s honor, please consider donating to Lutheran Community Services NW, 210 W. Sprague Ave, Spokane, WA 99201.
