Charles M. Hall

June 11, 1953 - December 08, 2013

Charles M. Hall, known as Monte to his family and friends, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on December 8, 2013 in Spokane, Washington. He passed suddenly from cardiac arrest. Monte was born on June 11, 1953 in Houston, Texas to Charles Hall and Alma June Williams. He graduated in 1971 from University High School where he met the love of his life, Pam. They married in August of 1976 and had two children, Tyler and Stephanie. Monte retired from United Parcel Service after 34 years of service. He was a faithful employee, but nothing pleased him more than retirement. It was his dream come true to spend his days traveling with his wife, family and friends and play golf with his buddies which included his son. He was always ready to â??go to workâ? on the golf course. Monte was the most kind, loving and wonderful husband and father anyone could hope for. His family was blessed to have him and forever grateful for his devotion to them. He was loved and will be missed always. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pam; mother, June Williams; children, Tyler Hall (fiance Jessica) and Stephanie Hall-Vitale (husband Marco); brothers, David (Cheryl) Hall and Scott (Shellie) Williams; sister, Sharon Knodel; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Sharon (Larry) Ressler, Patty (Jim) Nypen and Kenny (Bonnie) Morse; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Hall; step-father, Charlie Williams; brothers, Mark Hall and Darrell Williams; and sister, Julie Harness; mother-in-law, Thelma Morse; and father-in-law, Kenneth Morse. A memorial service will be on Saturday, December 28, 2013, 11:00 AM at The Intersection Church, 905 N. McDonald in the Spokane Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Hutton Settlement, 422 W. Riverside, Suite 931, Spokane, WA, 99201.
