
Carol Joyce Walker A much loved wife and mother, grandmother and loving supportive matriarch of her beloved family had battled a sudden, and eventually overwhelming on set of influenza pneumonia. Carol went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on February 21-2025 in Spokane, Washington. Survived by her husband Dale Walker, Sister Joan (Larry) Gardener, Patty (Kent) Morehouse, David Smith, Lester Osborne, four grandkids Kassie Cannon, Brooke Cannon, Brandon Huston, Taylor Gorman. Great grandkids Beau and Dean Huston, Skye Shipps. As well as many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly. Carol was Born in Olympia, WA. May of 1944 to Father Leslie Osborne, Stepfather Bill Smith, Mother Helen Smith (Osborne), the family lived in Keller, WA. until moving to Pasco, WA. in 1953. Carol, eventually meeting her soon to be husband Dale Walker in 1963, a marriage of 60 wonderful years! Together Dale and Carol built there first and only home in Spokane WA. in 1967. Carol being a stay at home mother and wife, lovingly raised their two daughters Kara Walker and Barbara Cannon to have a genuine/ life centered awe and respect of the Lord while maintaining an environment with much happiness and a strong sense of family purpose. The home was a neighbor hangout for all the kids. Carol being the one who started many of the water fights and the game of “Got you last” which is still being played. Carol had many talents and hobbies, she enjoyed fishing and camping, painting, crafts of all kinds. She took pride in driving her 1941 Ford PU to car shows with Dale or just driving around while making many new friends with her quick wit and genuinely embracing personality. But most of all she liked making quilts and baby blankets for friends and family. Come be with us as we celebrate Carol's life.
