Artha Patricia Saty, of Spokane, Washington passed away at 97-years-of-age on January 28, 2022. She was born in Spokane, Washington on December 3, 1924 to Coyt and Aileen Hice Allen. With her sister Coyleen Allen Ferrucci (deceased), Artha was graduate of Lewis & Clark High School. She was married to Richard Eugene Saty of Spokane for 64-years before his passing in 2012. Artha supported may community organizations including the Spokane Silver Spurs and Ferris High’s Ham on Regal. She traveled extensively with her family and the Friendship Force International travel club. She was a member of the Lincoln Heights (Congregational) Community Church and US Army Reserve Officers Wives Association. Artha was a very talented artist in her own right. Signing her art “Arty P” she created an impressive number of sea and landscape oil paintings and was a prolific china painter. She delighted in gifting many of her works to family members and friends. Artha a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, is survived by her 4 sons: Patrick and his wife Reggie from Hudson, FL, Douglas and his wife Shannon from Spokane Valley, WA, Jeffery, and his wife Mary Kay from Canby, OR, and Gregory from Spokane, WA, 10 grandchildren: Michael, Jason, Jeremy (deceased), Tyler, Derrik, Brandon, Nicholas, David, Brian, and Wendy, 18 Great Grandchildren: Dominic, Madison, Avery, Andrew, Ryne, TJ, Jack, Amelia, Jacob, Emmett, Destanie, Ayden, Peyton, Carter, Emma, Brandi, Rhett, and Benjamin, and 1 Great Great Grandchild: Cohen. Artha's Celebration of Life is May 21st at 1:00pm at Lincoln Heights Congregational Community Church; 3527 E 29th Ave Spokane, WA 99223 with refreshments to follow.
