Alvin “Al” Lee Daubel, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2023 at Deaconess Hospital. Al was born to Albert and Viola Daubel in Spokane, WA on June 28,1950. He grew up in Chattaroy, WA and graduated from Riverside High School. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching and playing sports, hunting, fishing, and relaxing at Diamond Lake. Al was well-known for his elaborate Christmas displays and had a passion for creating decorations that would attract people from all over the city. As someone who had been around power equipment for most of his life, he was the person everyone would go to for small engine repairs. He was always willing to go out of his way to help family, friends, and neighbors when they were in need. Al is survived by his wife Jeanine Daubel, daughter Lisa Daubel (Shane Sanders), grandchildren Takoda Daubel, Joseph Sanders, Josh Sanders, Emily Sanders, Noah Sanders, sister Maxine (Rick) Pickel, niece Dawn (Tim) Robinson, and nephew Jason (Traci) Pickel. A celebration of Al’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in his memory with the link below.
