FRY, Robert Lee (Age 68) - Robert was born on September 28, 1948, in Lewiston. Idaho, to Neal & Audrey Fry and passed away on April 6, 2017, in Spokane Valley, Washington. Robert graduated from Joel E. Ferris in 1966 and went on to join the Army, serving 6 months in Germany and 2 years in Vietnam. He was in Da Nang, and on the DMZ. He received a 2-year degree SCC Diesel Mechanic, worked in Tucson, AZ, for about three years in the copper mines and then worked for his dad at Thunderbird Truck, which he later purchased and continued working until declining health forced him to retire. Robert is survived by his sisters, Patricia (James Sr.) Stanton, Susan (John) Owen, both of Spokane Valley; nephew, Joseph (Sarah) Stanton; niece, Michelle (Warren) Stowell, both of Spokane, WA; nephews, Paul and Tyler Stanton, Tyson, Jack, and Noah Stowell, all of Spokane; great-nephew, Aaron Stanton, of Olympia, WA; and great-nieces, Crystal and Audrey Stanton, both of Spokane; and great-great nephew, Broyden Hadley, of Nampa, ID. He is preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Audrey Fry. Services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017, at 9:45 AM, at Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W Espanola Rd, Medical Lake, WA, 99022.
